My Heart, His Words

Let the Words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your site, O Lord.

About Satin

My name is Satin.  I was born, raised & still live in Southern California with my amazing husband Tyler, adorable stepson Jackson & our lovely dogs Gigi,  Ruby & Gunner.

I am a daughter of the King, a humble work in progress; flawed & messy sometimes, but what you see is what you get!  I love Jesus more than anything in the world. I’ve been known to say it like it is and am learning to live by James 1:19 and Psalm 19:14.

From the time I was a young girl, I’ve had a passion for writing & using God’s Word to encourage others through cards, letters or emails. The goal with My Heart, His Words is to encourage & challenge others in their walk with God, bringing the Scriptures alive through life-application.

Transparent writing is most important to me, as you will see my heart in all my writings.  I’m passionate about Jesus & the life He’s blessed me with & desire to be a willing vessel He can use.

I typically post once a week, but am open to the leading of the Holy Spirit, so occasionally post more.

Welcome to my journey & thank you for including me in yours!

  3. My mom tells that I too wrote notes and cards to people since I could write. I wrote my first poem when I was 7. After my dad committed suicide {when I was 9} I inherited his wallet. Inside were pictures of me and my brother and… that first poem … to him.

Growing up I dreamed of having my own child to love deeply. I nearly took my own life after much dispair. He saved me. Now … I’m momma to an amazing girl who writes like I do.
Our two life dreams are the same, Satin. I did not know that until I read this today.

Today … we meet … tomorrow we walk this journey closer in spirit. I’m happy to meet other sisters and brothers in Christ. I’m
happy and joy filled when He connects me to someone so near in heart and life dreams.
Bless you this day, my friend.
