Birthday Blessings


I’m not the girl who likes to be the center of attention at an event of any type. I’m the girl who loves to have a good time, but prefers to mingle, more like a “social butterfly”.  I just don’t like to be the focal point of anything!

On that same note, a few years ago I decided to send out an email to all my friends & family, on my birthday. Might seem a little odd to some, but for me, it was my day to put my thoughts & heart out there for everyone to read.  This year {today being my birthday}, I decided to post to my blog instead!

Today feels like the perfect day to reflect on the past year & all that God has done in my life & family. There have been challenges, and there have been victories. There have been tears, and there has been laughter. There have been friends lost, and friends gained. There have been broken fences mended {only by the grace of God & despite my human error}. I saw God move mountains & cast them into the sea. I watched His provision in our own family as well as those we love. I stood in amazement at his ability to bring health to my dad when the doctors predicted otherwise.

I smiled at the growth He brought to our new business Pelfreybilt Off-Road and how He beautifully orchestrated people to support & help us grow our business.  How He gave us the strength to maintain our full-time jobs, and balance our family life.  Never in a million years could we be where we are without all God has done for us!

All that said, 2013 was a year of tremendous blessing for me & my family. So today, it is with the biggest smile on my face & the warmest appreciation in my heart that I can say, ‘Thank you, Jesus for your blessings in 2013!”

2014 is starting out just as amazing!  Since I took the plunge late in 2013 to start this blog, I have been blessed with amazing support, encouragement, love & help from my closest family & friends, as well as people I could never find, but who God brought into my life.  Taking this leap of faith has been humbling, yet one of the most joyous decisions I’ve made! I couldn’t be more thrilled to embark on the journey!  As I stated in my most recent blog, I am both excited & challenged to walk more deeply my BELIEF in Jesus.  I look forward to all that lies ahead in 2014!

Ephesians 3:20-21
